Dr. Mahjoob Aghamohammadi graduated from faculty of veterinary medicine, University of Tehran in Iran in 2009. She was working with her husband in a pet clinic in Tehran for 5 years. In 2014, she moved to Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec with her family & their two cats to start a master’s program in veterinary epidemiology at Université de Montréal where she joined a research network studying dairy cow health. Shortly after, She adopted her dog, Sunny, from SPCA Montérégie.

She returned to the field of small animal practice in 2020 and joined the Algonquin and Prince of Wales team in May 2021.
